Merry Christmas!! What a peaceful song…

Have things calmed down? All your shopping and wrapping and crafting and decorating done?

All I have left is shipping packages and attending parties!! Now I can really relax and enjoy the season. 😀

things never calm down here – i have a disorder, if i actually get the things i plan on doing done i just come up with more things to do….
having crisis with my parents – they have lost their home, it is supposed to be auctioned off this week – have had to try to help them get their stuff packed and out as quickly as possible. long story. ugh
having boy crisis, partly his own fault, partly a sucky public school teacher’s fault – but it isn’t insurmountable and right now i’m expecting that to work itself out. poor boy went to bed in tears last night
then there are the ongoing crisis that is my eldest and her foster daughter/s

    life goes on 🙂

Sorry to hear of troubles in your part of the world, hope they work themselves out soon to everybody’s satisfaction. And hope to hear (or read) more of you when you’re ready to return to the blogging world.

    And love me some Sting!

Thanks Dave – the boy’s problems already worked themselves out very very well – as for my parents, well, I’ve known for many years that this was the direction they were headed. They make bad choices regularly and they are not interested in listening to anything they don’t want to hear re warnings. They are down sizing to a trailer (double) and there is no shame in that. It will require much less upkeep which they need to have happen anyway. It just hasn’t come about in a gentle sort of way. Long story – mother in hospital, lawyer not showing up for hearing, etc – all that means slammed with a very short deadline to get more than 50 years of accumulated belongings packed up and out.
As for the daughter – she has two teen fosters. The fact that they are fosters means there are horrible parents to deal with and major trauma and tragedy in both girls’ backgrounds. It is a good thing I think that my daughter has none of her own. No way a mother of her own children could deal with their own well while juggling these two teens who badly need love, support, understanding, and attention.
At the end of the day there is trouble in everyone’s life. It is the human condition.
All things work together for good for them who love the Lord…
